Nanomaterials occupy foremost position in the medical arena as their nano gradated structures endorse trouble free dispersion into the cells. Copiously, the nanoparticles can be synthesized by actinic, biochemical and organic modus operandi. In the extant study, Bougainvillea glabra Choisy was winnowed to synthesize the silver nanoparticles and to monitor its adequacy against Staphylococcus aureus. The aqueous leaf extract of the shrub was appended to the silver nitrate solution. The consequential, brown colored, refined silver nanoparticle had laid out a UV-Visible spectrum at 424 nm. The morphology was perceived to be spherical and measured 61nm to 68nm in size under FESEM. The EDAX spectrum had exhibited a peculiar peak for the generated silver. The TEM pictogram revealed an average particle size of 17.65 nm. The silver nanoparticles treated against S. aureus had developed a revamp diameter of Zone of Inhibition. However, there is a need for foster research to deduce the mechanism of action of the particles over the microbial extermination.
