Some 2-(4-amino-2-aryllaminothiazol-5-oyl)benzothiazole derivatives have been synthesized from amidinothioureas and 2-(2-bromoacetyl)benzothiazole with triethylamine. Their structures were established on the basis of IR, ¹H-NMR, ¹³C-NMR and mass spectral analysis data. Antioxidant activities of synthesized compounds have been evaluated by DPPH free radical scavenging activity.
