<title>EFFECTIVENESS OF EXTRACT OF SOME MEDICINAL PLANTS AGAINST SOIL- BORNE FUSARIA CAUSING DISEASES ON LYCOPERSICON ESCULANTUM AND SOLANUM MELONGENA PLANTS </title>
<abstract>The antifungal activity of extracts of  lessThan i greaterThan Tinospora cordifolia lessThan /i greaterThan  (leaves),  lessThan i greaterThan Moringa oleifera lessThan /i greaterThan  (bark) and  lessThan i greaterThan Trachyspermum ammi lessThan /i greaterThan  (seeds) at three concentrations  lessThan i greaterThan viz., lessThan /i greaterThan  25, 50, 75% (v/v) were evaluated  lessThan i greaterThan in vitro lessThan /i greaterThan  by poisoned food technique against  lessThan i greaterThan Fusarium lessThan /i greaterThan   lessThan i greaterThan oxysporum  lessThan /i greaterThan f. sp lessThan i greaterThan . lycopersici lessThan /i greaterThan  and  lessThan i greaterThan Fusarium solani lessThan /i greaterThan  causing wilt disease on tomato and brinjal plants. The antifungal activity was assessed in terms of percentage of inhibition of mycelial growth of the test fungi. All the plant extracts showed significant inhibition in the mycelial growth of the test pathogens. Among the extracts evaluated, lessThan i greaterThan  M. oleifera  lessThan /i greaterThan against  lessThan i greaterThan Fusarium oxysporum  lessThan /i greaterThan f. sp lessThan i greaterThan . lycopersici and T. cordifolia  lessThan /i greaterThan against  lessThan i greaterThan Fusarium solani lessThan /i greaterThan  completely inhibited mycelial growth at 75% concentration followed by  lessThan i greaterThan T. ammi lessThan /i greaterThan  seed extract.</abstract>
