Green synthesis and thermo, optical properties of m2p2o7 [m= ca and co] nanoparticles (Funded Work)
Nano size biomaterials have attracted much attention in material sciences, because of their potential applications and advantages over various chemical and physical approaches. The utilization of biological materials as reducing and capping agent in the synthesis process has proven to be eco-friendly, easy, cost- effective, efficient and non-hazardous. In the present study, we reported an eco-friendly green synthesis of M lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan P lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan O lessThan sub greaterThan 7 lessThan /sub greaterThan [M= Ca and Co] nanoparticles using a leaf extract of lessThan i greaterThan Ocimum sanctum. L lessThan /i greaterThan under microwave irradiation followed by annealing at 700 lessThan sup greaterThan o lessThan /sup greaterThan C for 3 h. The nanostructures of the annealed pyrophosphate samples were characterized using powder X–ray diffraction (PXRD), Fourier transform infrared spectrum (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDXS), UV-Visible analysis, and Thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). The Crystalline nature and size of M lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan P lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan O lessThan sub greaterThan 7 lessThan /sub greaterThan were studied using powder XRD and the size of nanoparticles found as 55 nm and 33 nm. The biosynthesis of M lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan P lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan O lessThan sub greaterThan 7 lessThan /sub greaterThan nanoparticles by using lessThan i greaterThan O. sanctum lessThan /i greaterThan is easy and eco-friendly. In addition, the band gap energy of Ca lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan P lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan O lessThan sub greaterThan 7 lessThan /sub greaterThan and Co lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan P lessThan sub greaterThan 2 lessThan /sub greaterThan O lessThan sub greaterThan 7 lessThan /sub greaterThan nanoparticles calculated to be 7.5 eV and 4.25 eV. It is concluded that the green synthesis plays an important role in the reduction of meal ions using lessThan i greaterThan O. sanctum lessThan /i greaterThan leaf extract due to the presence of phenolic compounds.
